It is now 100 years ago that the 91 Serbian WWI soldiers of our research died in the Netherlands. Since 2012 the team of secanje.nl did everything to give them a name, a face and a place in history so that they would not be forgotten. Of these 91 soldiers we found 12 families: some of them shared their stories, some of them did not. For those who did share their stories you will find these stories\u00a0here<\/a> on our website . We are grateful to all those who shared their stories and to all the people who helped us.<\/p>\n

Now it is 100 years later after those 91 Serbian WWI heroes died in the Netherlands and not on the top of the Kajmak\u010dalan mountain or during the Kolubara battles. There is nobody to read their names, but we do it here now , as we did not forget them, 100 years later. Two weeks ago the team of secanje.nl did already light symbolically a candle by the monument for Milo\u0161 Gavrovi\u0107 from Milo\u010daj, one of the soldiers who died in the Netherlands (in Usselo).\"\"<\/p>\n

On 11th January 1919 Milo\u0161 Simonovi\u0107 died in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n

On 15th January 1919 Milorad Ristanovi\u0107 died in Enschede.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 17th January 1919 Svetozar Bo\u017eani\u0107 died in Dordrecht, Tihomir Jovanovi\u0107 in Enschede , Dejan Ili\u0107 in Nijmegen and Najdan Nikodijevi\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 18th January 1919 Sre\u0107ko Bogosavljevi\u0107 and Milosav Milosavljevi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Vladimir Jovanovi\u0107 in Dordrecht, Velimir Dodolisko, Velisav Ivanovi\u0107, Milo\u0161 Jeremi\u0107, Serafim Kapovi\u0107 and Mililsav Markovi\u0107 in Nijmegen and Nikola Nikolajevi\u0107 in Usselo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 19th January 1919 \u017divko Damnjanovi\u0107 died in Amersfoort, Viden Mati\u0107, Branko Radovi\u0107, \u017divan Stefanovi\u0107 in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Sretan Stevanovi\u0107, Milentije Vukadinovi\u0107 in Dordrecht and Dejan Milo\u0161evi\u0107, Dragojle Rankovi\u0107 and Luka \u017divkovi\u0107 in Nijmegen.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 20th January 1919 Nikola Br\u010derevi\u0107, Stanislav Marinkovi\u0107 and \u0110ura Stojadinovi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Milan Brki\u0107, Jovan Paunovi\u0107 in Dordrecht, \u0110or\u0111e Mitrovi\u0107 in Enschede, Milo\u0161 Donevi\u0107, Jezdimir, Vukosav Miljkovi\u0107, Mihajlo Stenovi\u0107, Ivan \u017divanovi\u0107 in Nijmegen and Mihajlo Avramovi\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 21st January 1919 Vladimir Bo\u0161kovi\u0107, Bogdan Lazi\u0107, Marjan Marjanovi\u0107, Milovan Milojevi\u0107, Tihomir Mitrovi\u0107 and Velizar Vukovi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Dragutin Milanovi\u0107, Petar Nikoli\u0107 in Nijmegen and Stojan \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107m Milo\u0161 Obradovi\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 22nd January 1919 Milenko Damnjanovi\u0107, Milomir Matijevi\u0107, \u0110or\u0111e Vukosavljevi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), \u017divojin Miladinovi\u0107 in Dordrecht, Sreten Rai\u010di\u0107 in Enschede, Stojan Miosavljevi\u0107 in Hengelo, Arsen Lazarevi\u0107, Laza Lazarevi\u0107, Kosta Markovi\u0107, Milutin Talovi\u0107 in Nijmegen and Bo\u017eidar Radovanovi\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 23th January 1919 Dragomir Mijatovi\u0107, Vladimir Mitrovi\u0107 died Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Petar Aleksi\u0107 in Dordrecht, Desimir Popovi\u0107 en Dimitrije Stojanovi\u0107 in Enschede, Stanoje Dobrosavljevi\u0107 in Hengelo, Milo\u0161 Gavrovi\u0107, Drago\u0161 Nikoli\u0107 and Radovan Nikoli\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 24th January 1919 Aran\u0111el Milo\u0161evi\u0107, Milosav Nikoli\u0107, Aleksandar Stankovi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen), Mihailo Gaji\u0107 in Nijmegen and Milenko Markovi\u0107 in Usselo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 25th January 1919 \u017divan Antonijevi\u0107, Petar Martinovi\u0107, Milivoje Miladinovi\u0107, \u0110or\u0111e Peri\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen) and Stevan Paunovi\u0107 in Hengelo.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 26th January 1919 Radosav Jovi\u010di\u0107 died in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 27th January 1919 Dragan Dimitrijevi\u0107, Vasilije Simonovi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen) and Todor Kru\u0161eljevi\u0107 in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 28th January 1919 Stevan Vasi\u0107 died in (Nieuw-Milligen) and Uro\u0161 Radivojevi\u0107 in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 30th January 1919 Stanko Lazarevi\u0107 died in Apeldoorn (Nieuw-Milligen) and Bo\u017eidar \u017divanovi\u0107 in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 2nd February 1919 Stojan Markovi\u0107 died in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 5th February 1919 Dragutin Milutinovi\u0107 died in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 7th February 1919 Milojko Karad\u017ei\u0107 died in Dordrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n
