On the 22th May 2014 the Association of War Veterans Descendants from the Braničevo region visited the monument for the Serbian First WWI soldiers in Garderen. After the visit they had a dinner in Utrecht at Serbian school.
It was a beautiful sunny day when the Association visited the monument in Garderen so those Serbian WWI soldiers are not forgotten, neither by the Serbs nor the Dutch.
The yearly commemoration in Garderen will be on 5th October by the monument (Begraafplaats Craatshof, Koningsweg 30, 3886 KC Garderen). It starts at 14h00. Everybdy is welcome to join this commemoration.
