The yearly commemoration in Garderen on the first Saturday in October took place this year on the 3rd October 2020, despite corona. Unfortunately no one of the secanje.nl team could be present, but thanks to R.V. we obtained pictures of the commemoration which we were allowed to share.
We are glad to see that this year the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, her Excellency Ms. Ksenija Milenković whom we met in February, was also present together with the consul and our friend Bojan Kljajić.
Good to see also our friend Gijs van Ginkel who, together with Piet van Bentum and many others, were the initiators to restore the monument for the Serbian WWI soldiers who died in the Netherlands.
